Art has Heart: Nursing center to organize art exhibit, sale
Ms. Nina Moya, the activities director at University Plaza Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a new facility in the community located at 724 N.W. 19 St. Miami, Fl. 33136, is hosting an art exhibit for its patients on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 2 pm.
Because of their numerous physical challenges, the patients at the center are unable to travel to a gallery. So, the art needs to come to them.
University Plaza invites any interested DASH artist who would like to exhibit artwork for the center’s patients, families and staff members to contact Ms. Moya at 305-325-2300 ext. 4640 as soon as possible.
Opportunities to sell art and/or receive service points are in process as well.
