AIA Miami Sandblast Competition 2012

On November 11th, more than 30 DASH students from the Architecture Club participated in Sandblast, a sand sculpting competition held every year by AIA Miami. This year’s theme was “Isn’t it puzzling”. After a lot of hard work, the sculptures began to take shape, becoming a chicken and an egg connected by an ever-rising stair. The resulting sculpture posed the question “which came first, the chicken or the egg?” The hard work paid off, with our sculpture landing on First Place, giving us the Golden Bucket Award –a first for DASH in 10 years. Congratulations to the Architecture Club for a job well done.
